The first 2009 motorcycle events in Texas that occurs happens in early June each year in Austin Texas; the ROT Rally (aka Republic of Texas Rally).

Of the Texas motorcycle events, ROT has a good location for Texan bikers because Austin is situated between Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio. This biker event attracts some 40,000 attendees to the Travis County Expo Center which is the official Republic of Texas Rally grounds. The total draw to the area in attendance from bikers and admirers of motorcycles exceeds this.

Austin definitely has one of the best downtown scenes to party in Texas and also one of the best in any state, and this Texas biker rally gets pretty wild at night. If you have not had the opportunity to see custom bike builders that will be at ROT or seen the bands recently you might want to go to the official rally grounds. Many people enjoy the inexpensive drinks downtown, free bands, and the rides in the Hill Country in Austin rather than paying for a wrist band.

At the end of October towards the end of the biker rallies in Texas is the South Padre Island BikeFest . South Padre is an Island located on the southern tip of Texas, it is one of the "Big 3" Texas motorcycle events and is the largest family oriented motorcycle rally that attracts over 10,000 motorcyclists.

At one end of South Padre is the official motorcycle rally grounds and at the other end is the Schlitterbahn water park, which has a huge stage where a number of bands play and also provides some additional vendor space. Texas’ Padre Island city roads are set up with two long streets that are lined with shops and outdoor bars. So there it plenty going on in between the two event spots.

During late October or early November you will find the Galveston Bike Rally in the south eastern portion of Texas in the Gulf Coast of Mexico.

Notably, this is by far the largest free motorcycle events Texas has to offer. This biker rally is held across the whole city of Galveston and with over 400,000 attendees and the city is bursting at the seams. Here again, you will be able to find all of the major motorcycle manufacturers; parts, accessory, and biker apparel companies; custom biker builders; many biker events; and national music acts.
